The Beach Retreat is a unique, architect designed home set in an attractive coastal garden.
The “bure style” upper story, with open plan kitchen, living and dining and deck, has panoramic views over the coast. The house has been recently refurbished with extended living and bedroom space, decks and new carpets throughout. It's a bach,so we don't say "luxury" - but it is very comfortable!
With three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a playroom/ sleepout, the Beach Retreat accommodates up to 9 in total. Best suited for up to three couples or one to two families.
The Beach Retreat at Te Horo Beach: a memorable place to stay
The house is furnished with quality rimu and cane furniture.
For the young, and young at heart, there’s a full selection of activities ranging from trampoline, table tennis, pool table, petanque, books, CDs and DVDs….and the pirate themed playroom.
The Beach Retreat is a no-smoking property.
Winter or summer…..
Cosy in winter with a woodburner stove, heaters in all rooms, and electric blankets.
In summer, enjoy the private and tree clad section with sheltered outdoor dining area in a pretty coastal garden setting for "al fresco" meals.
Linen and cleaning
Quality linen and bath towels are provided*, and beds in the house are made up for your arrival – so you can relax from the moment you arrive. All beds have duvets, and/or blankets and comfortable pillows. Beds in the house have electric blankets. Guests are asked to provide their own beach towels.
The per stay cleaning fee provides for a full cleaning service after your departure; all you need to do is leave the dishwasher empty, and the house tidy.
Laundry facilities (automatic washing machine and dryer) are available.
